What makes you want to get out of bed in the morning? Is it the people around you? The work you do? Something you’re looking forward too? For me, waking up early has always been a struggle, but thanks in part to where I live, it can also be inspiring.
While this image was breathtaking to capture alone, I for one will always remember it as it was one of the final photos I took at my childhood home before my parents sold it and moved out. Having lived and grown up in that house since I was three years old, I had almost always had an ocean view every morning living there. This photo not only captures that memory, but also exemplifies the fact of how beautiful Maine can be in the morning hours when everyone is still struggling to get out of bed.
