Traveling back and forth between Down East Maine and Bangor, I experience a lot of interesting things on the road. One evening while traveling from Bangor on route 9, as usual, I was going the speed limit and an out of state new Lexus car was on my tail end, flashing his lights, trying to pass me and honking his horn. This guy would not let off either, he was persistent and I could see him in the rear view mirror flipping out and screaming. So being the guy I am, I played along to and wouldn’t let the guy pass me.

This continued for about ten minutes until we came up to a section of the road that allowed two lanes to pass. I speed up to about 80MPH and the Lexus, by nature passed me going about 100. But what the Lexus did not know, was that a state trooper enjoys sitting at the top of the hill. As the Lexus went by I slammed on the breaks to 60MPH and waved as they went by. As I was hoping, there at the top of the hill, was a state trooper. I cruised right along going the speed limit laughing as the impatient out of state jerk was on the side of the road probably getting a criminal speeding charge. Karma.
