“Do you see that? Do you hear that? Do you smell that”
You give me life in a bowl each day. You give me a roof and a place to stay. I get treats when I treats when I do as you say. You give me toys to keep my mind at bay, sometimes you even come out and play. I’m not allowed on your bed but you give me my own place to rest my head.
Sometimes you yell if you’ve had a bad day
All I do is look out for you. I keep you safe when your guard is down. I look for threats because they are all around. I might wake you up when I hear a sound. Or get excited when you come around. When you leave I loose my mind. I don’t know if you’ll survive without me by your side.
I do all this for you today, and all I ask for in return is your love.
“WOOF WOOF WOOF”
That damn dog won’t stop barking.
