Premise: In the year 3045, a spaceship carrying an elite team of scientists is the first thing known to have touched down on EZQ-245. Their goal is to study the new planet and begin to try and colonize.

Possibilities: Are there any living beings on this unexplored planet? How to best use resources around them to begin a life? Any unknown effects this new planet may have that were unanticipated? (I.e. gravitational pull, atmosphere issues, lack of water?)
Story Challenges and Problems: If they find other living beings, are they docile, friendly, violent, etc? Finding food/water to live off of and expand the colony?
Designing Principle: An entirely new planet filled with limitless amounts of knowledge to discover. How can this small group of scientists make the best of it?
Best Character: Al Herman, who led the expedition
Basic Action: Thinks this new planet will be easy to adapt to and live on. Has large plans and envisions a cornucopia of new growth.
Character Change: Comes to the realization that everything might not be as it seems, and in fact some aspects may make his plans very challenging indeed.
Moral Choice: Whether or not to continue trying to cultivate this new planet. Do the pros outweigh the cons?
Audience Appeal: Very science fiction and thus always has a wide audience.
Main Story Line:
Main Character: Al Herman, though the team of 8 scientists is hardly a large group, so you may in fact get to know them all.
Challenging Scenes/Actions:
Format/Technology: Twine or similar. Would like the use of images but those may need to be highly edited to give it the effect that will match the story.

This is a fine storyline and Twine seems to be a good format for this. Consider narrowing the variables–what challenges will the new planet offer? pick a few nd make these the focus of Al’s character transformation as explained in our readings.
