I’ve decided to make my game in Unity because it’s an environment that I’m fairly familiar with and so far things are going well. The screenshots can’t really show it all that well but there is progress being made. The code for the game is around 80-90% of the way there and I have the level designs almost completely done. The crucial parts that I’ll have to focus on over the next month or so are audio, which includes dialogue and music, and the art, which includes the character art, cutscenes, and animations.

The game structure will involve the player moving through various levels to advance in the game. The game will be divided into an introductory section and three main sections, with the total playtime hopefully coming to around 1-2 hours. After passing certain sections of the game, the player will be rewarded with more powerful abilities and increased health.

Here are some screenshots of the game at it’s current state. It’s pretty bland, I will be the first to admit that, but it won’t stay this way.
