In the interview of my father, a piece of incident from his stories has inspired me and I would like to base on that to turn it into an either fictional story/documentary. The incident is about a night when he was a soldier in the Hong Kong Military Service (when Hong Kong was still a colony of the United Kingdom), he was on duty with another co-worker to look for the hiding spots of illegal immigrants while this issue was quite a serious problem at that time in HK. They were searching along the broader with a trained dog, and found an area that seems to be one of the hiding spots of II, so they clarified their identity and ordered the people inside to come out one by one. But there were more II than my dad and his co-worker had imagined, by the time the II were still coming out, my dad didn’t feel right about it and he felt there’s a feeling of fear rising up from the bottom of his heart as there were like 2x II against them.
