Future looking back (as 50 year old): “I really miss…Or one thing I never miss…& why it’s important to you.
As I am 50 years old now, something that I really miss looking back is being young. When I was in college and pursuing a future career, I had no idea where I was really going or what would happen when I graduate, but I had a freedom to do what I want. Not that I can’t do what I want now, but college is a special time in life to really decide who you want to be and what values you want in life. I could pursue plans to travel and I did. I traveled as many places as I could. I am thankful for those memories and all the people I met along the way. But, I am happy to say that I can look back on my past with with joy and have such fond memories to cherish. We all have a limited time here on Earth and I believe it is important to spend it following what you believe and creating a life to remember. The major lesson I learned in life is to value your time and live in the moment. It’s not worth it to worry about a future that will still be unknown to you, even if you think about it constantly. Time is precious and should not be wasted.
