more indirect expression, i.e. angry with boyfriend through facial expression or body language

Dream and flashbacks could relate to a lost family member, such as her mother = ocean is wild, terrified, helpers around. All leads to NO STABILITY

regular fear added to repressed childhood fears; childhood girl may have died along with mother

She has to put on a survival mask

She must break/grieve in order to move on (through spirit)

Embrace terror in order to reclaim memories

Healing ripples back through time as well as forward through time. Wisdom and compassion as a result

Use slider with something flicker in background, out of focus shape. Lighting effects. Establish normal scene to build tension. Slight change from “normal.” Sound effects and music!
