This is the story of a summer focused on personal growth and building relationships with others.
Olivia, Grant, and Lana share their perspectives of the summer retreat they went on in blog posts. Each of them had their own challenges to face in Traverse, City. Olivia arrived excited for the summer, but soon learns her grandmother is ill. Grant came because his parents encouraged him to and likes Olivia when he first meets her. Lana is not very optimistic about being in Michigan after her ex-boyfriend broke up with her and struggles opening up to the group. Through the summer they grow as friends and as people. One common thing among them all is that they learned to face their fears and will never forget what happened over the summer.

Consider framing the story more like a trailer–with suggestive tidbits that create mystery or suggest issues that arise–maybe questions? This is best done after the rest of the story is written when the patterns emerge.
I like they way each character enters with a different mood–tears, excitement, bond–that dents up good energy dynamic. i expect this to shift as the stories progress–maybe they make full circle so each character has all 3 emotions? or some other nice pattern?
You can work of the blog tools also–see if they help evoke aspects of the story–will you use images? sepia? or are there ways to comment that characters can use?
focus on getting story out first–then working with other wp details–except where they can influence the telling of the story.
