Best tips for how to/ where to gather materials for our stories

Digital Journals

-can add multiple types of media, instead of just talking about a song, allow access to it right there.

-some can store data from all of your social media sites.

-allows for more drawing tools in one place, such as bigger strokes and multiple colors.

-organized and clean-cut

-if no one is willing to or has the skills to hack it, it will never be read.

-You can always scan or take pics of your paper journal to include in a digital journal.

-Can fly through when searching for an entry

-Its hard to lose your journal when it’s also your phone and game system and camera.

BOTTOM LINE-If you’re a regular person who is deeply immersed in media and/or prefers organization, a digital journal is for you.

 

Paper Journals

-allow for more accurate drawings drawings that are easier to erase.

-Don’t have to back it up, just keep away from fire.

-hacker proof (not little brother proof)

-can be found and read after you’re dead if you desire.

-doesn’t need electricity

-hardware is cheap

-can’t just backspace your thoughts a few days later.

Bottom Line – If you’re rich or draw out your ideas and want your journal to show more personality, a paper journal is for you.
