Description: My idea is to tell the story of my summer in Traverse City, Michigan. It was an unforgettable experience for me and I would like to share it with others. I am involved with an organization called Cru which is a christian group on campus, and I went of a Cru summer project this past summer. I learned how to share my faith with others in my daily life, I built relationships with others that will last a lifetime, and I got to see the beauty of Michigan. I will use photos I took over the summer and possibly have a page about each person on the trip to share who they are.

Scene(Part of the story that tells of my experience): A big part of the project and experience for me was getting to build friendships with the people I was there with. I have never been more open about who I am and willing to share what I’m really dealing with until this experience. It was a completely different world to me, being able to have relationships with people that are so real and honest. Being able to tell people your deepest darkest secrets and not being judged by them at all. It was refreshing and has impacted me to build stronger relationships with my friends at home/school.

Format: Digital scrapbook, possibly use iBooks Author. I will use images I took over the summer, incorporate what I learned, and tell different stories from the experience. I can also get my project friends stories on how the summer impacted them and incorporate those.

Audience: Other college students or students in Cru that may be interested in a summer project.
