It was a stormy night out in the ocean. The ship's bow crashing violently through the ocean swells. The captain had lost our bearing and we were unsure where we were headed. Behemoth waves crashed over the ship soaking anyone on the deck.
I decided to [[climb]] up to the crows nest to try to see the edge of the storm.
I decided to head [[below]] deck to try and dry off.
The dark abyss tossed my body around, crashing me into the ship repeatedly. I struggled to break free to the surface, and I was thrown at the ship again by the next wave. My head hitting the ship. [[Whack!]]
I woke to the sound of seagulls, and the slow crash of waves. Slowly opening my eyes, squinting as they adjusted to the sunlight. I sat up wiping to fog from my eyes I was on a dark sand beach. Standing up I decide to [[walk]] down the beach looking for the ship.I carefully worked my way over to the edge of the ship holding onto everything nearby, as to keep myself upright; finally arriving at the Jacobs ladder. The spray of the ocean chilling me to the bone. I began my ascent, gripping the rope so tightly my knuckles turned white. When I was halfway up I was finally able to see over the massive waves battering our ship. Up ahead in the distance, I saw a lone ray of light beaming through the storm. Beneath it lay a small island. I began my descent, and as I stepped down I slipped on the wet foot rung, I plunged into the [[abyss]].I climbed down the stairs holding onto the rope tied to the wall as a railing. I worked my way through the ship as it rocked, and swelled from side to side.

I soon arrived at my bunk. I sat down and pulled a small painted wooden soldier out of my pocket. Fumbling with it, it fell on the floor, and began to roll away. I sprang up running after it, and stepped on an candle rolling on the floor. My already poor balance robbed from me, and I fell head first into the adjacent bunk. [[Whack!]]I continued walking for what felt like an eternity. Follow in the cost it had slowly curved around, and I was definitely approaching the backside of the island. I continued hoping to see my ship, and was soon greeted with a sight for sore eyes. The ship. I couldn't see anyone onboard, but it was anchored a ways offshore. I waded into the water and began to [[swim]].As I walked the sounds of the beach dissappeared, and were soon replaced with birdcalls, and unfamiliar sounds of the forrest. I continued onward hoping that I would find some water soon; I was rather thirsty. Soon I heard the wonderful sound of a [[waterfall]].
I was soon greeted with the wonderful sight of a massive waterfall, producing a small rainbow at the bottom. I took a drink from the water, and sat down for a rest. While resting I contemplated what I should do, and I came up with a plan. I needed to get as high up as I could, and hopefully I would be able to see something out at at sea, or at least discover where I am. Turning I gazed up at the [[mountain]] above the waterfall.I began my ascent, and followed a small path leading up past the waterfall. Soon the waterfall was out of sight and I aproached the edge of the tree line. Within no time I was climbing up a rocky steep cliffside. Without a path, the going was difficult, but I managed to find hand and foot holds the whole way up. One at the top I gazed out looking around me, and determined that I was on an island. On the backside of the island was my ship. I felt my heart race, they hadn't sunk in the storm. I began to rush and hurried towards the back side of the mountain, unfortunately while rushing I slipped falling off the cliffside. As I fell I closed my [[eyes]]."Wake up!" Said a voice.
I opened my eyes, one of the ships crew was shaking me violently.
"Get up we need you to climb the rigging, and look for the edge of the storm!"
My head throbbed. Had it all really been a dream? As I was about halfway out to the ship I realized my mistake, I hadn't taken a break before swimming out, and my legs began to feel like jelly. I wasn't the strongest swimmer, but I gave it my all. Unfortunately that was not enough; I was exhausted. I began to sink into the abyss. Looking up at the surface I closed my eyes, and wished I was in my warm [[bunk]].I woke up covered in sweat. Had it been a dream? I hopped out of my bunk and ran up onto the deck of the ship. It was a clear night with the stars and moon shining brightly.
I decided to wander down the beach, hoping to be able to see the ship somewhere on the horizon, or anchored offshore further down. After a few hours of walking and seeing nothing on the horizon, I decided to [[keep walking down the beach]]/[[head into the forrest]].
