At the moment I’m torn between two possible formats for my story. Though I don’t have all the specifics of the fiction itself in mind, I’m racking my brain over how to go about portraying, as both formats would be entirely new to me and consequently I’m not sure how much time I’d have to dedicate to either (between constant work obligations and other course work). Create a short comic/graphic novel using photography initially and post-production graphics work.

Or

Compose a solo piano composition with multiple movements that reflect/accompany the events of a separate text-based short story.

In the case of the former, I’d like to potentially employ a classmate to help craft a story around a single character – portraying this character and helping with the direction of the photography – while I could handle the bulk of the post-work in mimicking a comic art style. And in all honesty, in the case of the latter, I would work on my own and likely put a bit more focus on the composition over the short story. Either way, each of these formats could see easy publication here on WordPress.
