AlexSchenkarPowSkiingPremise:  In this story I want to show the culture of Maine using Sugarloaf Mt. through a video of backcountry skiing.

Wish List and Premise List:  Great Shots of before skiing(Prepping), Footage that shows the use of land in Maine, The beauty of the state itself, Keep the audience attention at all times of this short film, Develop a story through it all.

Possibilities:  Look for what is possible in the premise. Write down options.

Story Challenges and Problems:  Problems in my story would be the following: Weather can be a serious issue. This could include the cameras not working as expected, lack of quality powder, Coldness which could effective my skiers.

Designing Principle: The principle is to show that Maine does have an appealing back country and can compete to the western regions of the country. The story will follow a single skier as he searches for the perfect run through nature and obedience. A inspiration I found is something like this:

Best Character: My character is going to be battling mother nature, through respecting it all the while trying to find the best possible trail for him to conquer.

Basic Action: Find the single cause-and-effect pathway by identifying a basic action that your hero will take in the story.

Character Change: The change of my main character will start with a timid scene of his face then a shot of him hiking up the mt then a sigh of relief when he gets to go down it. This will be the earn your runs type of mentality.

Moral Choice:  This is something that I need to build upon.

Audience Appeal:  I feel like anyone who is young, outdoor(sy), active and enjoys photography would appeal to this production.
